Organic Preparation Facility
From pollution reduction to compliance with environmental standards, compost production, fuels and high recycling targets, the processing of household waste is a major issue and concern for everybody.
The BRS is a rotary tube in which household waste is subject to aerobic pre-fermentation to be transformed, after refining, into standard compost.
The process of transformation of the organic matter is exothermic.
The inside of the bioreactor is therefore a warm, moist and well-oxygenated environment filled with micro-organisms which are conducive to decomposition.
The transformation of organic matter into compost starts as soon as it is introduced into the pre-fermentation tube (BRS).
The micro-organisms develop extremely quickly until the thermophilic phase when the temperature rises and triggers the pre-fermentation.
The main principle behind the process is oxygenation by suction, stimulating the rise in temperature of the waste.
Odours are captured as soon as they are emitted, then the vitiated stream is sent to a deodorisation unit.
A patented device, which is fitted at the outlet of the pre-fermentation tube (BRS), cleverly manages the unloading phases.
